Workshops related to exploiting diverse sources of scientific data
The previous workshop - Scientific Data Mining, Integration and Visualization (SDMIV) was held in October 2002 and was successful in bringing together scientists from a range of domains to discuss the issues in Scientific Data Mining, Integration and Visualization. Although long before the start of the theme on exploiting diverse sources of scientific data the topics covered in the workshop are related to this theme.
This workshop acts as a follow up to the SDMIV1 and the SC4DEVO Workshop on Service Composition for Data Exploration in the Virtual Observatory to investigate progress on issues raised at these workshops.
